Sorry, although we love all animals, no pets are allowed. Our chickens and ducks get free range of the property and have no natural fear of dogs. Hopefully you can get a doggie-sitter and come visit us.

No. We provide you with a beautifully clean cottage. After you check-out we clean it at no charge to you. Relax and enjoy your vacation and leave our house cleaners a tip if you'd like to.

Depends on availability. Midweek is rarely a problem although the rate may be slightly higher. Weekends are less available but call anyway with your dates and we'll see what we can do.

All cottages are stocked with gourmet coffee and organic teas that you may prepare for yourself at anytime but we are not a B&B. We hope you'll enjoy the freedom to eat whenever and wherever you wish. There are many restaurants and bakeries nearby. For those who love to eat in, all cottages have private dining areas inside and out and also have either a full kitchen or small kitchenette for preparing food.

Reception is spotty out here all over Point Reyes. If you can't get a signal we have a free phone for guests.

All the beaches are contained within the National Park. We are located just 1/2 mile from the Visitor Center and main entrance to the park. You are as close as you can be to many beautiful beaches. There is no lodging within the park except the youth hostel and camping.

In the village of Olema, just a two minute walk away, there are two restaurants (one very gourmet, one more family dining), a deli and four very nice boutique-type shops featuring clothing, gifts and art. In the town of Point Reyes Station, two miles away, there are several restaurants, a lot of food shopping (supermarket, bakeries, cheese shops, butcher shop, farmer's market), art galleries, bookstores, pharmacy, clothing, shoes and gift shopping.

Unless you travel during peak times you can get to San Francisco in one hour and to the San Francisco Airport in one hour and 15 mins.

No. In accordance with the Marin County smoking ordinance, smoking is not allowed inside or outside the cottages. Smoking is permitted in the parking area only.
